How NoticeWorth Evaluates an Opportunity
You need one answer for each opportunity: is it worth your time? Here is how we get to that answer.
What we check
Each opportunity is reviewed against the practical questions that decide whether a bid makes sense for your company:
- Set-aside and certification: is the job reserved for a group your company qualifies for?
- Trade and scope: is this work you actually do?
- Location: is the site inside the area you really work?
- Bonding and project size: does the job appear to fit your bonding and the size of work you handle?
- Timing: site visits, due dates, changes to the notice, and other schedule limits.
- Prime or team: should you pursue it as the prime, team with another contractor, or consider a subcontracting role?
- Deal-breakers and gaps: anything that rules the job out, or information that is missing.
- Past awards: who did similar work before, when that information is available.
If we can't confirm something from the source documents, we mark it REQUIRES VERIFICATION. We don't treat it as a fact, and we tell you what to check.
Every opportunity gets one call
- PURSUE
- Strong apparent fit, subject to the items flagged for verification.
- SHAPE
- Early stage. Engaging before the final solicitation may improve your position.
- TEAM
- A better fit with a partner or as a subcontractor.
- WATCH
- Possibly relevant, but not ready for action.
- PASS
- A serious mismatch or deal-breaker is present.
Each call comes with the reason, linked to the official source.
What we don't do
- We don't guarantee eligibility, an award, or your chances of winning.
- We don't replace the solicitation, official agency guidance, or the contracting officer. Those sources control.
- We don't treat unconfirmed assumptions as facts.

The free Fit Check shows what's in your market, what may fit your company, and whether a weekly pursuit brief is likely to be useful—typically within 1–2 business days.
The Fit Check is based on public procurement and company information plus the details you provide. It is not a legal eligibility determination. Privacy · Prefer email? hello@noticeworth.com
